The REACH Museum & Interpretive Center

The REACH Museum & Interpretive Center (REACH) is located along the majestic Columbia River in Richland, WA. The multidisciplinary engagement center features geologic, natural and cultural history, and heritage of the Mid-Columbia River Basin. The REACH provides a gathering place for residents and visitors alike to learn about science, history and conservation. We feature permanent exhibitions, special rotating exhibitions, and superior education programs for students and families on topics including the Ice Age Floods, Tribes of the Plateau, Early Settlers, Grand Coulee Dam, Irrigated Agriculture and most recently the Red Mountain American Viticultural Area (AVA). The REACH also is a catalyst for local ecotourism and heritage tourism by offering high-quality STEM-based tours to the Hanford B Reactor in partnership with The American Empress, ABC House Tours on our vintage Cold War bus, and a robust menu of day-long tour excursions.
