The Clement Mineral Museum is home to the largest and best collection of Kentucky/Illinois  fluorite and related minerals in the world.  In addition to the world class mineral collection, the museum contains fossils, photographs, maps, letters, records, mining equipment, and items of historical and geological significance.  While at the museum you will learn how the minerals from this area affect you. For example, did you know that your toothpaste has rocks and minerals in it?  Anyone who loves naturally beautiful things will enjoy this museum.

The museum has a gift shop which features unique items for unique people.  The gift shop features semi-precious gemstones, jewelry, mineral specimens, educational items, books, sculptures, household décor items, children’s items, and much more.  If you’re hungry, the museum has a picnic area for your convenience.
