Now known as the White Salmon and Klickitat Rivers, Lewis and Clark named them Canoe Creek and Cataract as they paddled down the Columbia River through the Columbia River Gorge on their way to the Pacific Ocean. Both rivers have gained high popularity for whitewater rafting fun for families and high adventure seekers with multiple sections to paddle and very diverse adventure levels. Whether you want to take a nice family trip with your children down the middle and lower gorge, or want to take a nice, thrilling adventure down the upper gorge, Zoller’s Outdoor Odysseys has what you want when it comes to whitewater rafting. Whitewater rafting trips go out April through October with all equipment and river clothing provided. Just think of what it would have been like for the Corp of Discovery if they would have had modern day rafting equipment!
