South of Cut Bank, Montana on a hill above the Two Medicine River, an iron teepee pole sculpture adorns the Two Medicine River Interpretive Site. The site has panels describing the Blackfeet teepee rings that can be seen here as well as the Two Medicine Fight Site where Lewis and his small party had a fatal encounter with some young Blackfeet men.
The Two Medicine Fight Sight is on private Tribal land several miles upstream. To learn more, see on our educational site The Blackfeet and Fight on the Two Medicine.
