Who knew that a converted old dairy on the outskirts of town could be transformed to a beautiful and airy restaurant, perfect for a weekend brunch or a midday pick-me-up? The Olde Dairy and The Trough first served as a dairy only selling raw milk, but was then renovated and given a new life back in 2015, when the restaurant opened. The place offers many things: a convenience store filled with traditional candies and groceries, a functioning gas station, and some of the best food on this side of Missoula. The Trough is open starting at 11pm on weekdays and 9am on weekends, and their brunch is truly something you can’t miss if you’re passing through Missoula.
