The Old Armory

Located at 320 First Ave. E., this unique and eye-catching building has a storied past, serving as a gathering place for soldiers, thespians, and the community for generations. From celebrations of life to moments of remembrance, the Old Armory has been at the heart of Williston’s history. Over the past 20 years, dedicated efforts from the Veterans and Friends of the Old Armory, local theater group Entertainment, Inc., and countless volunteers have transformed this historic venue. With over half a million dollars and thousands of volunteer hours invested, major renovations have revitalized the building, including: window replacements, insulation upgrades, new roof installation, and elevator repairs. Today, the Old Armory proudly serves as Williston’s center for the performing arts, hosting a variety of events, from weddings and funerals to concerts and dances.
