Looking to enjoy a magical experience and be involved in the Christmas festivities! There is no better place to be than at the Steubenville Nutcracker Village. Started in 2015 by two local residents, this Steubenville tradition has only continued to blossom. Each nutcracker displayed takes over 40 hours to complete and every single one has been made by the same person: Brodie Stutzman. The festivities typically occur from late November to early January and there are several festivities ranging from christmas tree decorating competitions to masquerade christmas balls. There are over 200 life-sized nutcrackers scattered throughout Historic Steubenville. Additionally, there are free hayrides every half hour from 6pm to 8pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are also several local Celtic concerts and performers who help to bring the Christmas Spirit alive.
