Sioux City Art Center

With a commitment to enriching the quality of life for all people in the region, the Sioux City Art Center brings visual arts to a wide audience.  Through educational efforts, curated exhibitions, and permanent collections, this museum creates a welcoming environment that advocates for lifelong education and experimentation.  Classes for both children and adults make art accessible and tangible to the Sioux City region residents.  The permanent collection artworks feature a variety of mediums and styles, and artists from the Upper Midwest are prominently highlighted.  Collected for nearly a century, these artworks today emphasize the cultural legacies of Sioux City, Iowa, and the Upper Midwest.  Admission to the Art Center is free, although special exhibitions might have a moderate fee.
