Second Bank of the United States is part of Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia. The historic building houses over 150 portraits—many by Charles Willson Peale—of early American political leaders. The collection includes his portraits of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark painted in Philadelphia in 1807–1808.
Note: The gallery will not re-open until at least February 2025.
