Scotti’s Italian Restaurant

A lot has happened since 1912. Two world wars, the cold war, the fall of the Soviet Union, indoor plumbing, cell phones, and the internet, to name a few. One place in Cincinnati has seen all of these things come to be. Scotti’s Italian restaurant on Vine Street opened its doors to the citizens of the Queen City in 1912. Scotti’s is easily one of the best Italian spots in the Queen City, it also may be one of the best in Ohio, or the Midwest. The reasons are threefold. First, the atmosphere. Scotti’s has a truly fascinating atmosphere with Italian candle bottles hanging from the ceiling, a multicolored tile collage across the wall, traditional red and white tablecloths, and candle lighting. It is an incredibly romantic and warm environment, completely unmatched. The food isn’t bad either. Visitors of Scotti’s are in for a great traditional Italian meal with whatever meal they choose. 1. Cannelloni Lombardi- Stuffed pasta with a special meat filling served in a marsala wine cream sauce topped with mozzarella cheese.

2. Beef Ravioli Ala Parmigiana, Ravioli baked with Mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce.

3. Lasagna Ala Don Giovanni- Regular lasagna baked with a meat sauce and cheese Mozzarella & Ricotta topped with Italian sausage

4. Spaghetti Ala Pasquale- Butter, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and a touch of tomato sauce

5. Spaghetti and Meatballs

6. Fettuccine Ala Guido- Cream, butter and parmesan cheese

And a lot more, including traditional Italian dishes, Steaks, Eggplant Parm, and Veal. They also have delicious Cannoli and Tiramisu, paired with excellent coffee. Scotti’s also has an extensive wine list with different Pinots, Chardonnays, Zinfandels, and Reds, from Vineyards ranging from California to Italy, and Germany.
