Prairie Band Potawatomi Powwow

Lewis and Clark encountered several Native American tribes while traveling through what is now the state of Kansas during their 1804-1806 expedition. These interactions occurred as they followed the Missouri River on their journey to explore the western portion of the newly acquired Louisiana Territory.
