The picturesque mansion built by James K. and Charlotte Pleasants in 1881 lives on, being restored to all its former glory in historic Vevay, Indiana. This beautiful riverfront property, formerly known as the Rosemont Inn, is situated on the banks of the Ohio River. It is now under new ownership as the Pleasants Rose Mansion Inn Bed and Breakfast, restoring the name to the original owners who built the home.
The second floor contains three guest bedrooms each with its original coal-burning fireplace and mantel, now converted to natural gas. The fireplaces provide beauty, ambiance, and heat when desired by guests. These bedrooms have been restored over the past several years each with its own private bathroom. Each room has been restored with crown molding and appears today much as it did in 1881.
