O’Bannon Woods State Park

Cool off at the Family Aquatic Center, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, featuring thrilling water slides, splash pads, and accessible water features, including a pool lift, water chairs, and zero-entry pools. Discover Wyandotte Cave, a fascinating part of O’Bannon Woods, open for guided tours on weekends and holidays throughout the summer. Archaeological evidence suggests Native Americans mined flint here as far back as 8,000 BC, leaving behind traces of their ancient activities.

The modern electric campground includes 234 reservable sites, along with designated sites for horse camping and group camping options. The Corydon Capitol State Historic Site is located near the park. Visitors can learn about early Indiana history as they tour the beautiful first state capitol building, built entirely of limestone, and old town square.
