North American Indian Days (NAID) is a significant annual event held in Browning, Montana hosted by the Blackfeet Nation. It is one of the largest gatherings of Native American tribes in the U.S. typically occurring in July. The celebration is an important cultural and social event featuring traditional activities such as dancing, drumming, dance competitions, pageants, rodeo, and colorful parades.
Cultural exhibitions such as storytelling, crafts, and art exhibitions provide insight into the history and traditions of various tribes. The traditional stick game and hand game contests are popular activities during the event. The gathering fosters community that celebrates cultural heritage and provides an opportunity for education and unity among Native and non-Native attendees.
