New Rhineland Farm is a Revival of Local Foods & Sustainability in Kentucky’s Edge of Appalachia. Nestled in the Mid-Ohio Valley, our farm is tucked in a holler between the Bluegrass and Appalachia.  It’s the birthplace of members of the Wenz family whose ancestors immigrated from the Rhine Region in Germany.  This personal ancestory, and the history of Rhinelander immigration to the region, is the story behind our farm’s name.  New Rhineland is as much as concept, as it is the heartbeat of our world. Offering a selection of chestnuts, wildcrafted mushrooms, Kentucky spicebush berries, Pawpaw purees and more. Schedule a walking trail tour, Call (515)520-7494 or visit our website for more information.
