The National World War I Museum is the nation’s leading institution dedicated to remembering, interpreting and understanding the Great War and its lasting legacy on the world. The museum’s exhibitions are designed to engage diverse audiences from all walks of life. Soon after the Great War ended, Kansas City leaders came together to form the Liberty Memorial monument to honor the men and women who served.
