At first thought, inheriting 100 plus boxes of miscellaneous negatives from the 1920s to 1980s could be overwhelming … but instead these buried images have turned out to be a resurrected treasure. The negatives have changed hands many times over until 1984 when they ended up in the basement of the historic Blackstone Club in Bismarck ND. The business of Magic Photo Art is located in that building. The owners have been printing and doing photo restoration and printing large framed prints and canvas over 30 years. Negatives of 3 more photographers have been added. The 4 photographers were very important in capturing North Dakota history as our state was growing and the collection is truly a tribute to their photographic talents.
