Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

For thirty years, the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art has been showcasing the best of contemporary art and ideals in Kansas City.  With free admission, parking, exhibitions, and programming, the museum is dedicated to marking art more accessible.  The Kemper Museum brings together a vast collection of works—from emerging creatives looking to realize ambitious projects, to established career artists.  Programs include monthly Open Drawing sessions and teen-led workshops focusing on different art types such as printmaking.  Rotating temporary exhibits are also not to be missed.  For lunch and weekend brunch, visit Café Sebastienne, where you will be seated inside a floor-to-ceiling art installation or a sun-drenched enclosed courtyard.  The Kemper Museum has the goal of making art welcoming to all.
