Hood River SUP and Kayak is a small local business in Hood River, Oregon that offers rentals, lessons, and tours via kayak, and paddleboard. Water travel is one of the best ways to explore the incredible Columbia River that was once traveled by Lewis and Clark themselves. Whether it is a single or double kayak or stand-up paddleboard, they have options for the whole family. In the summer months, the 2-hour tours take place in the morning and at sunset, and provide your group with a guide who can answer questions about the region, and point out some of the iconic sites along the river. If you don’t have much experience with kayaking or paddleboarding, lessons are also available for kids and adults.
