The Grist House is a community project, with the founders drawing from the assistance from their friends and family to make their dream a reality. That dream has gone well beyond what they imagined, with Grist’s products being sold at bars, restaurants, and retail spots. The pub holds one of the largest outdoor seating areas in Pittsburgh. If you want to drink inside, they have an option for that as well. There are multiple ways to get to Grist House, with access by car, bike, and bus all available.
The environment at Grist House is one that is infectious and welcoming to all. All together, they have ten IPAs, six ales, two sours, and a wealth of other options with that amount constantly expanding. They have new releases weekly, allowing their brewers to use their imaginations to create amazing products. Best of all, you have the opportunity to taste all of these options on the cheap as they have happy-hour specials. This combined with the pub’s partnership with local food trucks and dog friendly policy makes Grist a great place to have a great time.
