If you have a couple hours to spend while at Astoria, Oregon, we would highly recommend a visit to the Columbia River Maritime Museum. Filled with excellent exhibits of shipwrecks, passages through the Columbia River, and full size fishing trolleys, there is a fun exhibit for anyone of any age! There are also several online exhibits should you want to bring the lessons from the Maritime Museum back home. The museum is open from 9:30-5:00 pm daily! There are several self-guided audio tours should you want a more personal experience. Visitors who are members of Museums for All are guaranteed free admission into this museum!
