In downtown St. Louis, there is an “oasis of free interactive art,” known as Citygarden. With over 24 sculptures, surrounded by winding paths that guide visitors through the landscape, Citygarden brings art to the public. Within the garden, there are six rain gardens, a children’s spray plaza, and a pool with a waterfall. In summer, Citygarden is the perfect place to cool off with its series of public water features. Music Mondays are also celebrated, with concerts during the summer. Or, try Yogabuzz, a free yoga class for all levels. Covering just under three acres in downtown, the park is accessible from all directions and is within walking distance of the Gateway Arch.
