Interested in seeing some of the most beautiful views of the sky? Want to check out a
cool eclipse? Take a stop by the Cincinnati Observatory! Open every Tuesday and
Thursday from noon to 3pm, there are tours at 1pm and 2pm. Additionally, for the family,
there are weekly astronomy evenings with 90 minute presentations with tours of the
building as well as showcasing the observatory’s 1845 original telescope (the oldest in
the country!) There are also family astronomy nights which feature fun activities for the
kids and late night date nights. Additionally, surrounding the observatory, there is a self
guided walking tour where you can learn more about the history of this historic
neighborhood. Be sure to take a look at Mars or the Rings of Saturn while you visit! For
