Every important city in the United States has one thing in common: each has a unique and extensive museum center. The city of Cincinnati is no exception in this regard, with the one exception being that its main museum center is the historic art-deco Union Terminal Train Station built from 1928-1933.
Visitors have to step into the Union Terminal to understand just how remarkable it is. When it was built in 1933 as a train station, it featured the largest half-dome in the world and today it remains the largest in the Western hemisphere.
