The Choctaw Welcome Center is located just off U.S. Hwy 69/75 Northbound from Texas into Oklahoma. Stop here for free coffee, travel information, clean restrooms and unique Choctaw gifts and souvenirs made by Choctaw Artisans.
Outside is a life size replica of a Choctaw Hut and a traditional grass Arbor. In the front of the center is a large historic tree known as the “Message Tree.” Back in the day when travelers were passing through this area, they would nail a message onto this large tree for the next traveler or for a specific person.
