The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh offers a hands-on, education-centered experience where kids can both learn and have fun! After recently undergoing an expansion and renovation, the museum continues to delight and inspire children of all ages (and groups of all sizes).
There is now four times more space to learn, play and create amidst “Real Stuff” exhibits that include the Studio, Attic, Backyard, Garage, Workshop, Nursery, Theater, and Mister Rogers Neighborhood. These exhibits present themselves as a kid-friendly spin-off of “normal” areas they have been in before, allowing for children to feel comfortable in their surroundings and enjoy all that the museum has to offer!
Tickets can be easily purchased from our website, and there are many admission discount opportunities to be pursued. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, but the museum will undoubtedly entertain them as well! Parking is available on site, as well as a cafe where meals or snacks can be purchased to refuel kids (or parents!).
Though Pittsburgh does have many kid-friendly activities, this place will easily be a favorite! To reserve tickets or for more information, visit https://pittsburghkids.org/visit.
