In February 2024, the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District proudly unveiled the newly expanded and renovated VFW Sports Center, marking a major milestone in enhancing our community’s sports facilities. Thanks to the support of our partners, campaign backers, and the community, the center now offers more space, modern amenities, and upgraded features for athletes, teams, and fans alike! We now offer a complete overhaul of the iconic Rink 2, making it better than ever for hockey, skating, and community events and a brand-new third sheet of ice, expanding our capacity for ice sports and events. This expansion ensures that the VFW Sports Center continues to be a cornerstone of sports and recreation in Bismarck. Whether you’re here for a game, a practice, or a special event, the upgraded facility offers something for everyone!
