Andrew Ellicott House
The Sehner-Ellicott-Von Hess House was built by George Sehner circa 1780. In 1803, Meriwether stayed here for up to two weeks to receive training from its owner, master surveyor Andrew Ellicott . It is now the home of the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County and open to visitors by appointment.
