Help preserve the Wickliffe Mounds archaeological site by participating in a trail and grounds clean up, learn about the history of the park with special tour of the museum, exhibits and activities for volunteers. Meet at the Welcome Center at 9:30 for a brief overview of the Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site, and the trail and grounds cleanup projects that will help us preserve the archaeological site for future generations! Bring work gloves, wear outdoor clothing, and pack a lunch. After the projects, park staff will provide a special guided tour of the site, museum, and special exhibits, along with a demonstration using an atlatl for spear throwing.
