On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Betty Strong Encounter Center, Marci Broyhill, Prairie Poet & Storyteller, will share Christmas narratives about people who lived in our area.  Admission is free with a reception to follow. Marci Broyhill’s stories will warm our hearts and remind us to keep our priorities in proper balance.

Marci is also on the Humanities Nebraska Speakers’ Roster with her solo program, Nebraska’s Stories of Dreams and Goals. Marci has published two books Nebraska’s Outlaw Trails: Fact, Legends & Lore and Dreams Do Come True. She is currently writing and submitting stories to Living Here, a quarterly magazine that shares information regarding south central/southeastern South Dakota and north central/ northeast Nebraska. Marci often performs with her sister, Teresa Kay Orr as the duo, Sisters from the Outlaw Trail.
