Brian Buckmeier has been a private practice attorney for 37 years and a part-time magistrate judge for the past six years. Buckmeier hunts for fossils in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana primarily and has provided many finds of Hell Creek dinosaurs with his most significant find being a new species of dinosaur he found in 2003.

The pair have been hunting and digging fossilized dinosaur bones from the Hell Creek formation for almost 30 years. The pair have found fossils from T-Rex, triceratops, edmontosaurus, and several other species of late Cretaceous dinosaurs. Brian discovered a new species of dinosaur, named Dracorex, in 2003. He found the complete upper skull of the dinosaur which was something that was completely new in the paleontology world. Join us to hear about some of the fossils and an idea what will be contained in the exhibit.
