Built with stone from the banks of the Little Miami River by Harry Andrews in the 1920s, Chateau Laroche (Loveland Castle) is an amazing place to explore. The Historic Loveland Castle & Museum Chateau Laroche was built as an expression and reminder of the simple strength and rugged grandeur of the mighty men who lived when Knighthood was in flower. Take a step back in time to admire the hand tiled ceiling, dry-moat, gardens, games, and (if you believe) ghosts during your own self-guided tour! Learn the history of the location and the man who built it from the Knight on duty, a member of Chateau Laroche’s own Knights of the Golden Trail.
The castle hosts events year-round and offers picnic facilities as well as scheduled tours.
