Find your home away from home during your travels along the Lewis and Clark Trail at Green Tree Inn! Be pampered while you enjoy the peacefulness of the quaint village often referred to as the “town that time forgot”. Green Tree Inn is located right off the Great River Road between Alton and Grafton.

All rooms have private bathrooms with a shower/tub combo. Take advantage of the screened-in porch, fire pit in the garden, or fireplace in the great room to relax and unwind. The Inn is great in all seasons. Free high-speed internet is available if you need to stay connected. Bicycles are available for guests to take a leisurely ride around the village or on one of the local bike trails.

The Green Tree Inn features homemade snacks in the afternoon as well a delicious gourmet home-cooked breakfast each morning. The common area is stocked with water, soda, coffee, and tea and they are happy to accommodate any food restrictions/allergies. All guests also have access to a full kitchen. There is also an antique shop on-site and a peaceful garden with water/fire features and a beautiful gazebo.

Whether you are planning a trip down the Lewis and Clark Trail, a romantic getaway, a family reunion, wedding, retreat or simply seeking some elusive peace and quiet, The Green Tree Inn offers a warm welcome to all of their guests.
