The mission of Doe Run Education Works is to provide Midwestern Tri-state communities with an enhanced knowledge and understanding of outdoor environments and to facilitate instruction of conservation practices that will encourage the responsible use of all natural resources.
Located in northern Greene County, Doe Run Education Works offers over 50 acres of woodlands, trails, a pond and a stream where nature can be experienced and appreciated by visitors, locals, and lovers-of-the-outdoors alike. A stroll under the breezy canopy of trees offers opportunities to observe birds and other wildlife, with grounds full of wildflower blossoms along the way. The property includes a primitive campsite and a 12-point orienteering course which is ideal for earning outdoor merit badges. Contact Doe Run for information on group camping, school and youth activities.
