If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing and festive evening with family and friends, the Newburgh Winterlights is the perfect activity. During the holiday season from December 18th through December 20th, experience a winter wonderland in historic Newburgh, Indiana. Thousands of decorative lights line the trail at Aurand Trailhead leading to a beautiful overlook. Once you reach the overlook, you can enjoy s’mores, take photos, and warm up by the fire. Hot chocolate, cookies and s’mores kits will also be available to purchase at the overlook. This event is perfect for getting everyone in the holiday spirit!

Tickets for the event are $5 per person. Event capacity limits due to Covid-19 require tickets to be purchased for all participants. Your ticket will also provide you with a specific time for your walkthrough. The event is open to all from 6 pm until 10 pm, and 5 pm through 6 pm walkthroughs are reserved for elderly and immunocompromised guests so that even more social distancing can be provided. Parking is available at St. John’s Church or Mother Theresa’s Treasures across the street from the trailhead.

If you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor winter activity this December, the Newburgh Winterlights is the perfect place for you!
