Aurora is a quaint little town along the Ohio River in the Southeast corner of Indiana. The town is nestled between Lawrenceburg and Rising Sun (both cities with Casinos and lodging) and can be reached by land or water. It is considered a part of the Tri-State area of Indiana/Ohio/Kentucky. A day-trip can welcome guests to small shops from antiques-to hardware, historical sites, arts and crafts, and restaurants.
Our Art Guild is a non-profit organization made up of Local artists who proudly display and sell their artwork, pottery, woodwork, and small cards. As part of the community, we offer art classes, workshops for everyone, and guided art lessons for Special Olympics and New Horizon Groups. School groups come to visit for their art culture classes. Our Gallery is usually open on Fridays and Saturdays 11am – 3pm. You can find us on Facebook at SIAG or contact us by email at: 2siaginfo@gmail.com Also, check with the Dearborn County Tourism for more information on walking tours, bus tours, wine-walks, mural-walks through the town, seasonal festivals, art shows at our gallery, and holiday events.
