Lapham Outfitters is located in the heart of the Big Hole Valley, a place known for its wide-open spaces, rugged mountains, and pristine waters. Our hunting and fishing adventures take place on a combination of private land and national forest access. This unique setting offers the best of both worlds: the quiet seclusion of private property and the vast expanse of the untouched Montana wilderness.
The Big Hole Valley is often called “the Land of 10,000 Haystacks,” famous for its rolling meadows, abundant wildlife, and crystal-clear streams. Whether you’re hiking through dense forests, spotting wildlife in the open valleys, or casting your line into a quiet stream, this is a place that allows you to truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature.
At Lapham Outfitters, our goal is to ensure that you can fully immerse yourself in the adventure without worrying about the details. From the moment you arrive, we take care of everything so you can focus on enjoying your time in the great outdoors. All meals and lodging are included for the duration of your stay, whether you’re joining us for an exhilarating big game hunt or a relaxing fly fishing trip. You’ll be staying in our comfortable ranch cabins, where you can unwind after a day spent in the wilderness. Our meals are hearty and home-cooked, providing the fuel you need to make the most of each day’s activities.
We strive to make your experience as seamless as possible, so all you’ll need to bring are the essentials—your guns, ammo, and personal items. Prior to your trip, we’ll send you a detailed “What to Bring” list, outlining everything you’ll need, from clothing to gear, ensuring you’re well-prepared. This list will also include must-have items like a sleeping bag, so you can travel light knowing that the important things are covered.
