Virgelle Mercantile
For many years, the Virgelle Mercantile served a pioneer community and Missouri River ferry. Today, this historic building and site provides overnight rooms and cabins, an antique store, and a great venue for special occasions.
The Virgelle Mercantile is located near Coal Banks Landing, a popular put-in for boat trips to the Upper Missouri River Breaks where Lewis described “seens [scenes] of visionary inchantment”.
