Spooky Tales and Nighttime Trails
- Location: John James Audubon State Park, U.S. 41, Henderson, KY, USA (View on Google Maps) Start Date: October 26, 2024
- Start Time: 6:30 pm
A frightfully fun evening of night hikes and spooky stories! Beginning at 6:30 P.M., let our park naturalists lead you into the preserve for a night adventure on the trail. Learn of the mysterious and perhaps creepy nocturnal creatures of the woods in several stops along the way. By 8 P.M., our 1.5-mile hike will conclude at a shelter house for a session of spooky tales as told by our friends, the RiverTown StoryTellers. Stories are appropriate for all ages. Cost of admission is $5.00, cash only at the gate. Hikers are advised to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and to dress for the weather weather. Meets at the Welcome Center/Warbler Road Trailhead. Questions? Contact: Lisa Hoffman at 502-782-9727 or email to lisa.hoffman@ky.gov. Stories will be moved indoors at the Museum, and alternative activities implemented, in the event of inclement weather.
