Platte River State Park

Located between Omaha and Lincoln, Platte River State Park features sprawling views of Nebraska’s scenery with lodging options, recreational uses, and a variety of amenities.  Explore the outdoors with fun activities including archery, bicycling, bird watching, paddle boating, fishing, and hiking.  Visit some of the Park’s top attractions, including a picturesque waterfall and two observation towers that provide a scenic view of the Platte River.  Overnight accommodations are plentiful, including campsites, camper cabins, modern cabins, and meeting facilities at Mallet Lodge.  The Park also has its own restaurant, open seasonally at the Scott Lodge.  A Nebraska State Park Permit is required to enter this park.
