Hosted once daily from March through November, take a cruise on the Mississippi River in a steamboat in front of the Gateway Arch. Over a one-hour narrated trip, learn more about the River’s importance to St. Louis in the past in addition to how the River is essential to St. Louis today. Certain tours feature National Park Service Rangers who guide the narration. Additionally, on the first Wednesday of each month, cruises discuss St. Louis’s importance as the “heart of America’s Marine Highway System,” as it provides information about the transit of freight on the Mississippi River. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.
