Begin your experience at the Missouri Botanical Garden by entering the Taylor Visitor Center. With multi-tiered entry gardens and a sprawling views of the landscape, experience a variety of environments and species before stepping outside. Top attractions include the series of international gardens (from Bavaria to Japan) and the Climatron, a geodesic dome conservatory. While traveling through, experience a stately English garden and visit tropical greenhouses, with maps and virtual guides to help you navigate the 79 acres. Additionally, the Botanical Garden hosts fun and engaging events like “Grapes in the Garden” (a wine-tasting experience) and an “Herb Sale” presented in conjunction with the St. Louis Herb Society. During spring and summer, take advantage of the Garden’s extended evening hours on Thursdays, where you can enjoy dinner and drinks on the patio or watch a spectacular sunset. Walk-up tickets are available, but the Garden recommends saving time by purchasing tickets on their website in advance.
