With a 100 acre environmental education center, the Columbia Springs Environmental Education
Center is a wonderful place to learn more about the natural environment as well as enjoy beautiful
spots for nature photography or for a picnic. Fun events featured at the education center include a
Kids Fishing Fest which occurs on May 18, 2024. Kids are eligible to fish with a fishing mentor and
features hands-on science activities as well as a BBQ lunch. There are also guided tours available with
meetings at 5:30pm once a month throughout spring and summer to showcase the wonderful grounds
and diverse flora in the outdoor center. For more information make sure to visit
