After traveling around the United States and learning from people who care about food, Tyler Harp has created a barbecue restaurant that has consistently been ranked at the top by Kansas City Magazine. With a menu that rotates seasonally, Harp Barbecue is always experimenting, featuring dishes like brisket, pulled chicken sandwiches, and pastrami pork belly. Despite Harp’s classic roots, new innovations like blueberry-cheddar sausage and tallow chocolate chip cookies appear on their menu. While Harp remains known for typical barbecue, a recent favorite is jerk chicken—born out of a desire to give customers an experience beyond the typical brisket-ribs-sausage plate. Open Wednesday-to-Saturday, from 11am until 7pm or until sold out, don’t wait to try Harp Barbecue.
