The Kansas City Museum uses innovative exhibits, programs, and events to bring awareness about Kansas City’s past, present, and future. While it contains five Beaux-Arts Buildings on a sprawling 3.5 acres, Corinthian Hall is the centerpiece of this museum. Corinthian Hall is designed as a self-guided experience, with 400 artifacts spread across four floors. From exhibits on the second floor celebrating the untold history of the City, to the third floor’s space for films and programs, this museum engages visitors in reflections on the story of Kansas City. Programs, like the historic Derby Party held each May, further the museum’s reach and community engagement. Other buildings on the grounds continue to be renovated, which will bring the Kansas City Museum to an even wider audience.
