Considered one of the top 8 wonders of Kansas architecture, the Chapel of the Veterans is a must-see for anyone who is stopping by the Leavenworth area. For a time period, this church was considered an oddity for hosting both Presbyterian and Catholic services at the same time! Visitors can drive by the area and take photos from the outside while admiring the beautiful Glacial Hills Scenic Byway. The Byway along with the Chapel of the Veterans is an excellent way to spend multiple hours at Leavenworth Kansas and will certainly not leave you bored!
