First incorporated on October 24, 1864, Umatilla annually celebrates being the oldest surviving community in Eastern Oregon. The Umatilla Landing Days occur every year on Saturday and Sunday of the last full weekend in June. Locals and visitors kick off the celebration with a parade and continue on with vendors and live musical performances. The event has a designated “Kid Zone” with bounce houses, face painting, water activities, and more. Sport competitions, raffles, boats rides, a car show, and a beer garden make the festival for the whole family.
Parking and admission are free. In return, the event coordinators ask for non-perishable food donations.
