The Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge is well known for being the home to an abundance of beautiful waterfalls. Multnomah Falls is the largest and most visited, but people who only visit one waterfall along the highway are missing out on some seriously jaw-dropping and unique waterfalls that call Oregon home. While some take longer hikes to reach, others, like Bridal Veil Falls, are just a short walk, making it great for families with younger kids.
Bridal Veil Falls is one of the top waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge. The dual falls plummet 120 feet into the forest below and make for one of the more picturesque waterfalls in Oregon, especially during the fall foliage season. Regardless of the time of your trip, the short half-mile hike is classic Pacific Northwest, with mossy trees and wet rocks dotting the trail up to the falls, making it a perfect hike year-round.
