The Lower Brule Sioux RV Park is a tribally owned RV park with a beautiful view. It features 18 sites that are open from April to October and allows for both RV’s and tents. The 18 full-service spots have access to electricity, water, showers, and a dumping station.
The Lower Brule Sioux Tribe hosts an annual Pow Wow normally the second week of August, and the RV Park is close to the Pow Wow arena. Accommodations fill up quickly around Pow Wow time, so if you are planning to visit, book early.
The Lower Brule Sioux RV Park is also close to the Missouri River. This is a great location to set up a base camp for hunting and fishing or enjoying the beautiful wildlife. It’s also a short drive from the historic hill tops that Merriweather Lewis and John James Audubon once stood, a top ten “must see” when visiting Lower Brule Sioux country.
