There are many nearby special events throughout the year, including the North American Indian Days celebration that occurs the 2nd week in July for four days and exemplifies authentic Blackfeet traditions including singing, dancing, and drum contests. The Glacier Peaks Casino offers holiday and weekday specials and is also only 40 minutes from Canada—currency exchanges are not a problem.

The Glacier Peaks Casino is a great place to unwind after exploring Glacier National Park, home to 700 miles of hiking and biking trails, and Two Medicine hiking trail in only a 30-minute drive away. The park also features world-class fishing along with other outdoor activities.

Glacier National Park is known for its rich history, and the opportunity to learn about the Blackfeet Tribe as well as the adventures and travels of Lewis and Clark. Two Medicine is a historic point for the meeting between Lewis and the Blackfeet Tribe during their travels and exploration along the Marias River. During Lewis’ travels, a fight broke out between the Blackfeet and Lewis group resulting in the death of two Blackfeet citizens.

A “must-visit” site is the Blackfeet Nation Bison Reserve lookout along Highway 2 between Browning and Two Medicine. This location offers visitors a chance to view these magnificent animals. The Tribe’s work includes bison restoration, wildlife habitat conservation, food sovereignty, ecotourism, culture revitalization, and more.

Glacier Peak Casino is home to the Jackpot restaurant and dining experience which has great tasting treats at amazing prices. The Jackpot restaurant is open from 11am to 10pm for indoor dining. If visitors feel like just relaxing and ordering in, Jackpot offers online ordering from 11 am to 8:30 pm.
